Ulrich Gruchmann-Bernau

.. ist ein Musik- und Fotografie-Enthusiast aus Österreich. Er lebt in Wien und ist Mitglied des Österreichischen Rundfunkorchesters.

In seiner fotografischen Arbeit beschäftigt er sich mit Projekten rund um Menschen in verschiedenen Facetten. “Eine Fotografie sollte etwas ausdrücken - etwas erzählen. Aus diesem Grund mache ich gerne eine Fotoserie über ein ‘Projekt’, welches in einem Buch, oder einer Ausstellungen seine Veröffentlichung findet.

Neben seinen persönlichen projektorientierten Arbeiten bietet Ulrich Portraits, Künstlerfotos, Konzert- und Hochzeitsreportagen an.

Weil seine Tätigkeiten als Musiker künstlerischer Natur ist, steht auch seine Fotografie unter einem Motto: ARTISTRY & AUTHENTICITY.

Ulrichs fotografischer Stil ist geprägt durch seine Wahl des Prozesses der analogen Schwarz Weiß Fotografie. Er entwickelt und vergrößert seine Aufnahmen selbst nach traditioneller Methode, und begleitet somit seine Vision vom Moment der Aufnahme auf zeitlosen Schwarz-Weiß Film bis zur Übergabe des fertigen Bildes auf Baumwoll-Papier.
